He approaches innovation as a competency to be built and nurtured within the individual and the organization, rather than an outcome. Aaron formerly held the roles of SVP of Innovation, Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Customer Advocate, and Head of the Innovation Lab at Transamerica.

Dr. L. Miguel Encarnação

Dr. L. Miguel Encarnação is currently a Professor of Practice in Business Analytics and Innovation at The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. Miguel has extensive, real world experience as an executive innovation management consultant and organizational innovation orchestrator with a passion for creating sustainable innovation cultures by applying design thinking to systemic transformation.
