Marc Stoiber appointed to the Sustainable Cities Board of Directors

6.29.2010 — Sustainable Cities (ICSC) announced today the appointment of Marc Stoiber, VP Green Innovation of Maddock Douglas, to its Board of Directors.

Sustainable Cities was founded in Canada in 1993 as a partnership between three levels of government, the private sector and civil society organizations. The organization acts as a catalyst, tackling the daunting challenges of urban sustainability.

Headquartered in Vancouver with an active network of over 40 cities in 14 countries, Sustainable Cities is a think tank and ‘do’ tank. Results are delivered through practical demonstration projects and peer learning networks – then scaled up through affiliations and high-profile events to larger projects.

Stoiber brings rich experience in green brand innovation to the organization. As part of Maddock Douglas – and previously at Change – he helped multinational clients develop green products, services and business models that were simple, surprising, and compelling. Sustainable Cities’ innovation agenda dovetails with Stoiber’s goal of bringing green innovation to a mass audience.
