Back in the ’60s I watched Bewitched. I loved the premise of being married to someone who could produce anything out of thin air. But being a boy of grade school age, I never could relate to Darrin’s struggle to achieve his own success without help from Samantha’s witchiness. I thought he was a dope. Except in those scenes when he was pitching clients. His boss, Larry Tate, would refer to him as an “idea man.” I loved that phrase. It suited me. But is there such a thing as an “idea man/woman”?
