OPEN POSITIONS

UX Strategist

  • Likes to work on a blend of design & strategy
  • Some Design background preferred
  • Ability to think both creatively and analytically
  • Can communicate abstract ideas through pencil sketches, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
  • Skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and especially InDesign (wireframing)
  • Has user experience skill set (wireframing, information architecture)
  • Familiar with user testing, paper prototyping a plus
  • Coding HTML/CSS a plus

UX Designer
  • 3+ years working experience as a UX / UI Designer, with a strong portfolio
  • Combination of UX skills (70% Design / 30% Information Architecture)
  • Strong typographic skills, with an ability to handle large amounts of information / data
  • Expert in applying user-centered design methods and best practices
  • Strong understanding of industry standard rich internet application technologies such as Flash, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript in a cross-browser, cross-platform environment 
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment - working with product strategist, developers, usability specialists, and others
  • Independent self-starter with strong project management skills
  • Proven ability to create e UI mockups from paper-and-pencil concepts to wire-frame designs to high-fidelity prototypes that convey the interaction model.
  • Proven ability to create User Interface Specifications / Styleguides.
  • Proficiency using design tools such as Visio, OmniGraffle, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Excellent time-management, multi-tasking ability, and the ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to quickly understand and communicate complex system and design concepts.
  • Strong visual and verbal communication skills.

Tech/Code Programmer/Developer
  • Compliance-validated, platform-agnostic HTML and CSS
  • JavaScript (including namespacing, JSON, jQuery and AJAX.  Comprehension of packing or minifying)
  • Server-side C# (3.5+), VB or PHP (4+)
  • MSSQL (2005+) or MySQL
  • Drupal (6.0+), Joomla or WordPress installation and administration
  • ActionScript (3+)
  • Visual Studio (2005+)
  • PhotoShop (CS1+)
